Hungarian artist Csaba Kiss was born in 1970, his father was a famous mural painter. First taught by family friend and famous Hungarian artist Imre Vincellier, Kiss went on to study art at college and obtained a diploma as Professor of Drawing.
A passion for photo realism and an extraordinary ability to draw led to great success and commissions from the Coca Cola Company, Pepsi and various breweries. In 2002 he was asked to go to Argentina to restore churches and paint frescos.
Now working exclusively in oils on canvas and adopting a less precise style, his large, well observed still life paintings use a light colour palette giving them a refreshing, contemporary feel.
