Born in Somerset in 1950, Keith went on to study at Somerset College of Art before pursuing a successful career as a freelance illustrator and artist working for major publishers, advertising agencies and design studios finally moving to a career as a full-time professional artist about twenty years ago.
Keith paints mainly in oil or watercolour, preferring to paint in his studio from notes and sketches made on location and also reference photographs, sometimes even using video to recreate the mood and atmosphere experienced at the scene.
Keith is a member and regular exhibitor at the Mall Galleries both with the Royal Society of Marine Artists and also the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour. His work is in many private collections both here and abroad.
